So I did this ass backwards...but I was gone all weekend and just wanted to inform you ladies! I am moving back to Alaska in two weeks and had to move all of my stuff in a U-Haul down to my SIL's place in Maine so the moving company I booked with could come pick it up and take it to Alaska. (It was half the price if I did it from the states, instead of Canada, of course!) However, the moving company DIDN'T show up!!!! and I had to come back home because I had 3 friends with me to help me and they all had to work first thing this morning. I am so irate with the moving company and I think it might even be a scam, and if it is I'm out $500 bucks that we paid for the deposit. I still have all my stuff in my SIL's garage and I am just livid. This morning I will be on the phone trying to work things out and figure out a way to get my stuff up there! Other than this, in the next two weeks I will be busy busy trying to get last minute things done for the move and for the wedding so my time on here will be off and on. I feel like there is a lot I've missed so I'm going to catch up while I wait for the moving company to open!! :eyepoppin:

OMG that sucks! I really hope it wasn't a scam and that you figure things out ASAP!!!

Oh girl I really hope it's not a scam that would totally suck!! Hopefully it's just a mix up and you can get it all straigtened out!!

So after being on the phone ALL weekend and the past two days I found out that the truck broke down and apparently they didn't want to tell me this. :throwinfit: So finally they picked up my stuff this morning and it will be in Alaska in a month or so. :shrug: Here's to hoping it actually makes it all in one piece now!

Gosh I hope everything in the end turns out good! and it would be nice of them to at least give you something back.
