Ok ladies, so I know this is completely random, and PLEASE don't kill me for asking this.
Any of you have ANY idea how to GAIN weight? Seriously, I was at the dr. 2 months ago and was 135 which a lot of people say im super skinny for being 5foot 5. Well yesterday I went back to the same dr. and was 125lbs. I keep losing weight and I have NO clue how to stop. Im not running, so its not like its from running 20 miles a day like i normally do in the summer. I know I dont eat red meat at all, but really thats not it. I eat ALL the time, and a LOT. Like yesterday I ate a entire large pizza by myself for lunch (didnt get up in time to eat breakfast) and a few hours later I was eating 2 of those lean cuisine meals. Then 2 hours later I had supper with my family, we went out for all you could eat chinese...
I dont think I am that stressed that Im losing weight cause of it... I just want to know if any of you know any ways to gain weight, besides take whey protein...

ehh protein really is the best, besides literally something prescribe like a growth hormone by a doctor, eat LOTS of protein. I mean junk food and sugars will cause you to gain weight, but mostly just fat and you'll never satisfy any hunger.
you also may want to ask your doctor if they think checking your thyroid might be a good idea..?

since you aren't excerising and everything as much could it maybe because all the muscle is turning into fat? Idk about all that stuff but I do know muscle weighs more than fat!!!

see Kela thats one of the big problems. I cant have red meat cause I have to watch my protein intake cause i have problems with kidney stones... which sucks cause i know protein is really what helps you keep on weight but i have to avoid it the best i can...
I'd have your thyroid checked too - it could be a hormone issue.
M&M's seem to help me gain weight...And butter.

I'd have your thyroid checked too - it could be a hormone issue.

Oh no - I don't eat red meat either, actually I eat only Turkey and Chicken, and then every once in awhile I will eat shrimp ... not even a big seafood person .. so my protein comes from that.
but things like nuts, or peanut butter, other things that are high in protein ...also that high "fat" listed is actually the good fats for you so that is always something .. you could snack on nuts in between meals and then just try to load up on the kind of protein you can have when you eat your meals, and avoid some of the carbs which are empty fillers.

well, easiest way i can think of is meet at starbucks almost nightly and come stay at my house because my mom constantly cooks pasta and every other food that turns into nothing but sugar or fat in your body. we call ourselves the fat family. mom's italian so we are always eating. so there's no hope for me, but lots of hope for you! hahaha

i have the same problem! im 5'6 and 110 pounds....I was 120 not too long ago...and all i do is sit around on my ass and eat JUNK....but when I was trying to gain weight so I could donate blood my grandma made me have a smoothie everyday....made with vanilla or strawberry ice cream, frozen or fresh fruit, and milk. and that helped me gain a few pounds....

Oh yeah i forgot...I also had to eat 3 meals a day....lol....lots of noodles....pastas...hotdishes....um....yeah but i added the ice cream wtih the smoothies to it Lol...

maybe my problem is i keep eating all day... which is apparently better for you to eat lots of small meals than 3 big ones...

it is - it's better for your metabolism which in result will usually allow you to burn more calories daily.

keep exercising. eat healthy (very healthy) you'll gain it back asap! just do it the healthy way!
