yo yo yo! joey LOVES Lee Child, (author) and his Jack Reacher series, theres like 13 i think! they kept joey company during his deployment. its about a MP in the army turned spy or something? idk? ha--joeys a huge fan, and has read almost all of them, he has 4 left i think, and he told me today he wants to get him when he comes home. its a long series, but the books arent like super long like twilight or anything, and joeys pretty picky when it comes to books. so check it out!
author: Lee Child
series: Jack Reacher
heres the website so you (and trev) can read more about em, and see what order they go in! you could prolly get em all off amazon for pretty cheap, used. maybe everytime you send him a carepackage while hes gone you could include the next book!? (may be hard travelling with like 50 million books ha)

(i even got Lee Childs autograph for joey! you can request it off the site and its fo free! so stoked to give it to him when hes home!)

If he's into the scifi/fantasy genre, I recommend pretty much any of the series by David Eddings.
Mystery/Murder: Harlan Coben is a fabulous author, he doesn't have many books out yet, but all of them are good. Or, the Alex Cross Series by James Patterson about a detective in DC. Kinda gruesome at points, but still good.
Some examples of books or series he reads/likes would be helpful, from there I could probably give more suggestions (I pretty much live at the library...)

Mike really liked angels and demons and the divinci code....he's more of a non fictional reader usually...political books. Like "do what I say not as I do" but the one he really liked was an FBI expose of the hells angels...I don't remember the name of it. My advice is go with your gut...you know him and you know what he likes I'm sure you can find a great book(s) for him!
