When he got to Afghanistan they didn't have a room available for him, so he's been in a tent for what...3 weeks now I guess.

Anyway, he just told me that as soon as his pink eye goes away, they have a room available for him!! Which means he will be able to get internet!!!

That sucks about the pink eye... did they make him pitch his tent because they didn't want anyone else to get it?

lol no he wasn't quarantined or anything. He was in a tent from the moment he got there. It's one of those huge tents made for like 40 people...and I know there was at least one other guy with him. At least that's what I think it was...

Erin you have NO idea how jealous I am. JM has been gone for almost 6 weeks now. STLL in a tent, thats all they have. 2 meals a day, none on sundays :( No internet in their rooms. Ask Big M if he wants to go to iraq and JM can go replace him in Afghan??? lol Im sure he will say no... but If I have to go 15 months with a deployment where he cant even use his own computer to talk to me... IM GOING TO GO CRAZY... and his phone card is all screwed up so in order to call me he has to call the phone card company and have them connect him to me... its sooo annoying. I keep hoping his situatuion will get better...b ut its not... and when I send him packages... they only get mail once a month :(
