I don't blame you... I'd be pissed too!!!! People say C is too skinny, but the kid is an energy box... never rests! Busy, active boys are thinner! Plain and simple! I hope they realize what they are doing? Maybe look online for research info and print it out and mail it to her! It may help her realize what they are doing without having to 'confront' them... Hope it helps... try to ignore it... unfortunately it's not your kid... which is a good thing right?!

5?? and weights 110 lbs?? That's 20 more lbs than me and I'm freakin 21!! My 5 year old weights 45 lbs and she always eats but is very active. I don't blame you hun..I'd want to do the same. I hate watching poor kids do stuff like that..it's not their fault..they don't know better..it's the damn parents!

wow... we have a lady like that here and I am always tempted to call child services. I can't believe that some parents don't even try to teach healthy eating skills. When I was in kindergarten one of the first graders weighed 100lbs and his parents had to write down everything he ate and then limit him to so many calories a day. He lost a ton of weight and they as a family really worked at it. Maybe someone needs to open their eyes as a family so they can work on it.

Wow I cant even believe you could let your child get that big! I mean I weigh like 10 pounds more than her! I would be upset by that too but there really is not too much you can do if they think it's fine. When she gets a little older though you could reach out to her and try to help that way.

O.O
Please call child services. These parents REALLY need a wakeup call if their 5 year old kid weighs just a little less than most of us do.

Its very important that children learn good eating habits while they are young. Maybe you all could have a family meeting and discuss it. Keeping her active is important, but this needs to be a lifestyle change. She will be the one who is going to have to deal with this at school and with friends. I hope they do something about it.

That is nuts!!
Wow that poor girl. Although I wish someone would sit me down with a chocolate pie...hmmmm
Seriously though, lil M is 40 pounds and on the big side, but he eats healthy! I wouldn't worry so much about the weight as the food shes eating. You can't give a 5 year old a WHOLE pie. They are like dogs, they will eat until they die. Sweets that is...

i agree with you all, it just sickens me its not her fault, williams brother left and so her mom is having to do it all, but thats no reason to neglect her like that, williams step mom (i dont like her at all) she is overweight too and she thinks shes just adorable and everything, william even gets annoyed with it, we arent close with them, we have seen them in person like 2 times in 5 years, i think it bugs me even more knowing shes like that, and i cant do anything about it!!
