We went to coffee this morning and while we were there Kennedy was standing next to my chair and somehow fell. She landed on her right side/stomach. I picked her up and she was crying... I noticed her favoring her right arm... I was like oooo crap. So, I tried to hand her binkie to her, and she would grab at it with her left hand... OOOO CRAP... So, I watched her for a few minutes, and she still wouldn't calm down. I knew something was wrong. I left Colton with one of my friends there and I took Kennedy to the ER. I called Evan and he met us there.
We went to get X-rays and the little girl was a pill. She had just fallen asleep and I laid her down on the bed and she freaked when she opened her eyes and saw that machine above her head. Poor thing! Well, we got 4 x-rays done with 3 people manipulating her hand/arm/shoulder. She screamed the whole time. Went back to our room and the dr said she had a buckle fracture in her wrist. Poor thing has a splint on her right wrist and will end up with a cast in the next few days. What a way to spend your first birthday. It sucks!
Evan was like... there's nothing wrong, she is fine. I knew there was something wrong when she wouldn't grab anything with her hand, and she didn't want me touching her arm/hand. BLECK! This has been one heck of a day!
