more retail therapy...

after spending most my day in bed eating chocolate. [oh the nightmare i went through just to get a bar of chocolate!] i decided i needed to go out to the craft store.

i just checked my bank and saw i had received some of my tax return so i figured 'i'm depressed, i wanna splurge.' i went to the craft store ready to buy a whole bunch of scrap booking stuff. i've always wanted to do it and what better time than now when i'm all consumed in missing my boyfriend. well i got too overwhelmed and didn't know where to start. so i went to the frames section and they were having a huge 50% off sale, couldn't pass it up...i ended up buying eight frames and one really big collage frame. so now i am printing out all these photos and placing them in frames and decorating my room with derrick. not like with with him...but his photos are now surrounding me in my room. i should have bought more frames because i have now run out and i am re-doing a ribbon board i have with a bunch of old stuff...i'm removing it all and putting even more pictures of derrick and i up. i'm in love, why not share it with my room? hehehe

lol amazingly enough i ran out of photo paper before frames, boo. but my room looks beautiful and i plan on going again tomorrow for more. and i am getting a firefighter poster i have of his framed. [when he left the first time i remember him mentioning he wanted it framed someday.] and i need more photo paper...and yeah. my room looks AMAZING covered in us. lol

There's just something super exciting about being able to go out and buy stuff to distract you for a little while. And scrapbooking is ALWAYS a good time. :)

i just bought eight more frames. and one really big poster one for his firefighting poster :) i'm sooo happy!

and i got two scrapbooking page frames so basically i just do two pages and then put them in the frames. i think it's a good start :)
