Hey ladies,

So I was at work today and there was about six of us girls sitting around talking about guys.. One of the girls just got engaged so she was telling us all about it. Well some how we got on the topic of saying I love you :heart:..Some of the girls said they would never ever be the first to say it..and the others disagreed...it got into a debate nonetheless....especially on how long you should wait!

So I was wondering which one of you said those three words first? How long were you guys together for? and how did you do it? :lovesmenot:

um. i said it first. we were together for about 2 months. i remember we were sitting on my bed at like 2 in the morning when my went to pick my brother up from work and scottsusposed to leave cause it was a school night. my mom kicked him out when she got home, lol. it was perfect though.

I'm not really sure who said it first... we said it a lot on facebook and the phone.. i think when we first said it neither one of us knew just how much we really did love one another...

mines weird lol. joey and i dated in middle and high school, after HS he went to the army i went to school, we drifted. year 2 of college i found him on FB, we started msging...then emailing..then IM..then phone/webcam. 3 weeks into this we decided to be together (even though he was in germany,i was in GA and we hadnt seen eachother in a few years) i would always said ' god i adore you' even though i always WANTED to say i love you-it just seemed so crazy! so fast! especially bc we were in a relationship...but handt seen eachother in YEARS and were across the world from eachother.
a couple days after we were officially together, we were on the phone and he goes ' god. i love you. im sorry if its fast but i just cant help it- its exploding out of me' and i giggled and said ' i love you too :) everytime i said 'i adore you' i really wanted to say i loved you!' he laughed and said 'i know ;)'

haha so crazy it was over 2 yrs ago but i remember it, every detail :) and it makes me grin SO big just thinkin about it!

Tom and I always said it a ton when we were just friends. But I think the first time it was said not in a friend way I called him up in July when I was at the Rancid show (one of our favorite bands) and I said You should just marry me cuz I love you. We had never met in person. Lots of phone calls emails and text. He thought I was kidding but I really meant it.

Well ours happend fast and we both felt it but we wanted to be in person.... And I came to see him one weekend and we had a fight or argument about something cuz I ended up in the bathroom and he followed me and shut the door and we just stood there and I said I wasn't talkin to him cuz I was mad and he's like well you should cuz I love you! And then we showered together haha.... He's got it marked on the calender our first I love you

Adam said it first. I don't remember when and where but I know it was a couple weeks after we were dating, too soon for me. It took me a lot longer to say those words since I had got out of a serious relationship 6 months earlier, I wasn't ready for those words again.

I remember the day I told him I loved him. I was listening to music and on came Endless Love just then he walked through my door we didn't even say hi he just took my hand and we danced, I remember whispering into his ear "I love you" it was a great night since that is the same night we concieved Donovan..lol.
