So I just got to talk to J for a little bit on the phone! :phone: That's not the part that sucks..haha

He told me that since he's only gonna have a year left in the Corps when he gets back from the deployment they are either wanting him to re-enlist ORRR he's going have to go back on another deployement like literally WEEKS after getting back from this one!!! And he would be gone pretty much the whole year in Afghanistan and in like actual war and not floating around the ocean like he is right now..lol

I'm sooo bummed it's not even funny....

I'm gonna be so pissed if I don't get to see him if he has to go back on another deployment. He says he wont know for sure about all this because sometimes they use it as a scare tatic to try and get the guys to re-enlist. Guess I'll just have to wait it out... :shrug:

I'm sorry to hear that they're trying to scare him into re enlisting. Mike was gone for 15 months and 6 months after he got home they told him he would deploy again for a year+. Granted...he'll be home a year before he leaves but it still sucks. They barely get time to chill out before they have to go again! Hopefully Iraq will be chillin out soon and they'll be sending guys overseas less frequently.

Just hang in there hun. Either way you can handle it! As sucky as the options are! I think that's totally shitty that they use a "scare tactic"!! that's crap!

sweetie im so sorry. i know how you feel though. when scott gets back he will have a year a half left. we are in the ame boat. if hes around for very long he will have to extend his contract. and if he desides not to do that they he will redeploy in a few short months.

it really does suck. im here for you if you ever wanna talk.

It's all crap. To be on the safe side I'm def going up there as soon as they get back just to make sure I see him if he does have to deploy again.

Well J def does NOT want to re-enlist..lol I just gotta wait it out...hopefully he doesn't have to deploy weeks after getting back. There would be little time for :sexin::sexbanana::69::spankme: lololol Especially since I'm in Texas and he'll be in Cali!

Wow, how can they send him back soo soon after. I thought the new plan was to spread the deployments around, at least thats what the Army claims they want to do. But then again a few guys that just got back from Iraq 3 months ago are going with my hubby on his deployment. So they only got 3 months home before they left for training for the next deployment. I think they volenteered though, but I'm not sure, I know they had trouble getting enough guys to go so who knows.

Anyway we're all here for ya if it happens...

Ya I know. Justin was telling me that there was a new "law" that says guys should be able to be home for I think 15 months before getting deployed again..but I guess there are always ways around that that the Marines find..lol

the marines have to do 2 tours during there enlistment. scotts are going to be close together cause he hurt himself and ended up 4 months behind on everything.
