Well today was the day :(

I dropped my new husband off at the airport early this morning. I was all alone and cried the whole way home (and hour or so). I almost got into an accident but I made it.

He said he'd try to call from his first stop but he should've already been there so I guess he couldn't. Now is the fun part, sitting back and waiting to hear from him praying he makes it safely.

Fifteen days is not nearly enough time

You know that qoute "Home is where the heart is"
Well that's with Matt and when he's not here, I don't feel like I'm home :tissue:

Seven more months of this awful deployment and then we'll be a family again

Awww girl you are strong and will make it through these next few months! We'll be beside you all the way! Keep looking at your pictures and remembering all the special times you had over the past two weeks, it will be over soon!! It never gets easier, but we're here for you, the first few days will be the hardest to get re-adjusted! Keep your head up!

oh Hunnie...I'm sorry. Hang in there!! 7 months seems like a long time but it def. goes by fast! I have another 3months or so left already!! I'm sure you will get to talk to him soon!!

youre right, 15 days isnt even close to enough. 2 wks after we got hitched i had todo the same thing girl :( it was the hardest thing ever turning around and walking away from him in the airport. ive been there-i feel ya!
its been 3 months since i dropped joey off, and its easier...but still sucks-it will till we're back with em ;) hang in there girl, and of course you know you have us here.

About an hour after I posted this I got a phone call from some random number and I know it must've been Matt so I went to pick up the phone right away and it said missed call after not even 10 seconds of ringing!
It rang and stopped almost instantly and he didn't call back

I know it's going to be awhile until I hear from him now. I hate waiting. I'm usually a very patient person but when I know he's doing something dangerous, I am very anxious.

At least I know I'll be moving in less than 7 months also which will help the time go by faster

Well I heard from Matt just over an hour ago and he was getting ready to leave the states. Hopefuly I'll hear from him once he gets into Europe. If anyone has any big news, feel free to update me. There's no way I'm going to get through ALL the posts I've missed the last few weeks.

The first two weeks is going to be the worst - but after that you'll get back into your routine again and start feeling (relatively) normal. And you're right, the move will definitely keep you occupied so you can be completely consumed with trying to get things organized that time will fly by!

He IMed me from Ireland at 3:30am.
Now I just have to wait for the next call. That's the big one b/c I know dangers in the area.

I'm actually going to go look for a new job too so that'll help to keep me occupied. I'm tired of waitressing, I hate it and my tutoring job with the Army, well they screw me over so much so I'm going to leave there soon.
