I'm TOTALLY jealous. Mike and I have really wanted them for awhile but paying for two of them was just not an option. A little TOO expensive. So while Mike was away his phone bit it big time and today we just bought him a blackberry!! I want it sooooooo bad! BUT I get it when he leaves for Iraq so I guess that's better than nothing but I'm totally jealous!

i have a curve and love it-its so nice to have,esp with hubs away! i can get on yahoo IM with him, get/send emails to him no matter where i am,ect! i love it! i got it a month after he deployed and its been a life saver! youll love it mere!!

I would prefer to get a different one - but I have a pearl and it's definitely nice to e-mail and talk on msger with Nick any time of the day especially when I'm out with the family and he doesn't have a chance to call! It's worth it for sure.

exactly what I wanted it for! This time around without taking 21 credits a semester on top of two clinicals at the same time so I probably won't be running around quite as much...but I want to be able to take "him" with me lol. I can't wait to steal it from him lol

For any of you Verizon users... We have a fairly new Crackberry Curve... 8330

We bought it in December, then decided to turn off our service... so we have this $400 phone sitting here not being used....

I offered it to Mere and she declined... so I thought I'd offer it to you all. If anyone is interested in it, we are only asking $175. Nothing is wrong with it, but we won't use it again. PM or email me if you are interested.

I love my Blackberry. I got the Curve and it's red. I love the blackberry messaging!!! It's so awesome. Doest Verizon charge you an additional 30.00 for internet or something like that?

For the storm they do...it sucks but I love having it :) and I still haven't figured out that whole messaging thing.

Jay has an LG Dare and in order for him to get the net and use the gps, they charge him like 30 or 35 bucks extra on top of his service. Totally gay!

yes its another 30 for the data plan, its 100 a month total for 450 minutes, unlimited texting, and the data plan...ie internet email... I like Verizon's service. I get service pretty much everywhere, plus 99% of my family/friends are all on verizon soo...they're all free anyway...I think the only person I talk to whose not on verizon is Christy lol

Annnywayyy if you guys saw my post today -- 5 days after getting his blackberry Mike dropped his in the toilet...well he decided that he should buy a new one so he can have a phone now and that when the insurance sends us the replacement for the one he broke I can have that one!! Soooo as soon as the insurance company gets us the new phone I'll HAVE A BLACKBERRY!! I'm so excited!

i seriously can count on one hand how many times i missed something, VERY few, definitely under 5. it was so nice, and im so glad i did it at the beginning of the deployment-best thing i ever did ;)

I have to say I didn't miss a ton last time. My biggest problem was him calling when I couldn't answer the phone...i.e. at my clinicals or taking a test...most of the time I'd just run out of the classroom if I could lol. He didn't have internet access for quite awhile so we were relying on phone calls for awhile which totally stunk!!
