My name is Heather and I am currently going through my first deployment with my boyfriend Matt. He is with the 13th meu and a recon marine. We have known each other since high school but after high school drifted off until last summer. He was in California and I was in Duluth. We decided to start dating this last January. It is a newer relationship but we acted like we were dating for the longest time and thought why not make it official. I hate just being a girlfriend because it seems as though I know nothing as to what is going on with them! I miss him like crazy and just received my first package from him yesterday!! I am very excited...it is his marine corp hoodie :)

As you know, I'm Kathryn! My boyfriend, Justin, is also in the Marines and in the 13th MEU and ALSOOO a recon marine! Ok, how weird is that!! I'm Mary, 20 and I just recently married my soldier on R&R :) He left this morning to head back to Iraq for the second half of his tour...7 more months to go! No kids yet but we're working on it!!! I'm living in Jersey right now but I'll be moving to Fort Wainwright, AK in the fall sometime before my husband returns
