well the way it works is there is always susposed to be a MEU out. like as scott is coming home the 11th MEU is going out.

heres the problem.

the 11th MEU just got pushed back till Oct. i dont know what that means. ive been told not the really worry about. some of the key Volunteers (KV's) were making different bets that the guys wouldnt be back before Aug 1st. but the family readness officer (FRO) was saying that he wasnt so sure about that. but wont say anything else about it.

i know that is how it is going to be. they cant tell us.

but i still wanna know! i wish i could know whats going on! ugh the millitary really does suck sometimes!

As you stated yourself you shouldn't really count on anything. It's going to change 90 million times! Just try not to bank on anything hun! I know you want to know when he's going to be home but you're really not going to know until it's a few weeks away. I know it's hard. Just try to remember he'll be home soon. Try thinking of everything as a rumor until they have their orders to come home...that and telling myself it would be longer than it was supposed to be really helped me. When he told me he was coming home it felt like he was coming home early even though it had been 15 months.
