Like what i'm getting from it is that her bf or hubby is deployed and she misses him so she's cheating and thinking of him in everything she does with this new guy. Its just makes me angry seeing that. but what do ya'll think

I think she was told by him to move on, so she does but she justs keeps thinking about him. The end of the song doesn't match the end of the video, the lyrics she says she wants him to come back, but the video he dies. Maybe it is just a metaphor, I don't know..lol.

I'd like to think she's talking about him telling her to move on after he dies...which she's trying to do. But you're right the video is really misleading it does seem more like she's cheating on him while he's gone than actually trying to move on...

Not gunna lie, I'm not a fan of the song or the video...

well like from what i get from it....it shows her at the end reading the letter but it seems like she got it at the end like that she was missing him and was with this guy thinking of him and then at the end it shows him getting shot and shows her going to the funeral...thats where its misleading to me it makes it look like she was cheating to fill his place and with this guy it made her think of him then he actually dies and is gone. I dont know i just think the video is kinda confusing or i'm just really reading to much into it and getting myself all worked up...they should change some stuff because it looks bad to me. oh and my bro is the one that showed me the video and was like look at this dont it look like shes cheating...so i guess we are on the same track of mind on the video.

I agree Kandice I don't like it either. I think it doesn't flow well enough to make sense, it could go one way or the other...and if she is cheating that's crap and Katy Perry needs to get a fuckin life because that's not cool...if you want to try to be sympathetic that's fine but there's no need to add fuel to an already crappy stereotype.

I think Taylor Swift's Just a Dream was done with much better taste and class.

I really don't like her so therefore I can't really get into the song. The lyrics themself are okay, but her voice is pretty bad. I have not seen the video, but after reading the lyrics it sound like she's been told to move on but she can't and she's upset with herself because she's not being fair to the new guy.
