So I may be gone for a few days, maybe not..lol
I have been having problems (big surprise) with these strange headahces not at all like the migraines I normally get and my eyes have been super blurry lately and I have one pupil that is completely dialated all the time and the other one is not, when light is shined in it it does constrict but very very slowly. My left eye lid (the eye with probs) has been really droopy (will show in pics) and I went to my doc, she said SURPRISE,, motrin is the cuase of all evil again. Basically she is claiming becuase I take butt loads of motrin it is causing refractory headaches which is bull becuase I could totally understand if it were a narcotic pain reliever but not MOTRIN... She also claimed when I was passing kidney stones it was motrin's fault. I swear this woman has it out for the NSAID. lol.
ANNNNNNNYWAY... I went to the eye doc yesterday and totally freaked them out with my one huge pupil. After a very extensive screaning the doc asked me to come back to have it done again. lol. He said I have severe scar tissue on my left eye, and that before and after dialation I appear to be very farsighted, (I never knew) but he thinks he needs to use a stronger dialation becuase he thinks it is worse than first appears. Both my eyes are farsighted but the left is much worse than the other. He said the dialation drops we are going to use today are going to last for up to 48-72 hours. :confused: I don't like that idea as I felt super sick yesterday when they were dialated, really motion sick in the car. and oh yah I couldn't see CRAP! So I just wanted to forwarn y'all if I am not on it isn't that I don't love you it is that I can't see...haah
Oh yeah, He said the reason he thinks the eyelid is all droopy is becuase it is a form of self preservation, it isn trying to protect itself and its inability to see and the fact that it is so dialated it is trying to protect the eye, at least that is what he thinks now, he also is making me go for an MRI becuase he isn't sure that is 100% the problem. He asked me HOW THE F$$K I function in my everyday life as bad as my vision is. I said I never knew it was so bad. I assumed becuase I have had weird vision for 7-10 years now that it was a side effect of having migraines, and didn't think twice of it. He said hopefully if we can correct my vision my migraines would go away, he said it could explain why nothing has helped them in all these years... any way wish me luck.
